Vincent Devon Allen

Vincent received his early education in public schools of Wilmington, Delaware and graduated from James H. Graves High School in 1989. Upon graduating from high school, Vincent was employed by The Walmart Company for a short time, and then began working as a machine operator and doing retail sales in his spare time.

Vincent had the passion for baking; he loved making cakes from scratch. Vincent also liked listening to music, the oldies were his favorite.

Vincent was his own comedian. He loved making people laugh. Vincent was a very caring person to everyone he loved.

On March 24, 2019 Vincent went home to be with the Lord. Vincent leaves to cherish his memory; 6 children, Oniesha West, Tamara Gonzalez, Venise Hamilton, Tara Johnson, LaTonya Hamilton and Vincent McCants, his mother, Martha Ballard, 22 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, 4 brothers, Gary Foster, Kim Allen, Michael Jones, 6 Sisters; Denise Foster, Roma Romeo, Gail Foster, Carla Foster, Linda Mitchell, and Tracy Jones, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was predeceased by his brother, Gerald Foster, Jr.

Service will be held on Friday April  5, 2019 at 3 pm, viewing 1-3pm. Mother UAME Church, 701 E. 5th Street Wilmington, DE 19801
