Thomas Boise Lamar Reeves

September 19, 1983 — October 22, 2020

“Death leaves a heartache no one can heal, Love leaves a memory no one can steal.”

Thomas Boise Lamar Reeves was born September 19, 1983 to Karen Ivy Reeves (Samuels) and Thomas Henry Allen Jr. He passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, October 22, 2020.

Thomas was born in Washington, DC and shortly after, moved to Germany with his sister and mother, as she completed her military career. Upon returning to the US, Thomas attended St. Peter’s Cathedral School, Gauger-Cobbs Middle School and William Penn High School, where he graduated in 2001.

Thomas had a loving spirit from a very early age. He was very protective of his sister Tia and did so by questioning his mom for spanking her and asking her not to do so. He even skipped playing with his friends on occasions to sit with his great-grand mother when family members had to work.

Thomas had an infectious smile and laugh and would do anything to make those around him laugh too. He used his “GQ” Style to perfect his “Look Away” pose. He was a family man and would always be the life of the party at functions. He loved traveling with his family and friends and making memories that we will cherish forever. He was an avid builder and would create fun obstacles and other amazing creations for his boys. There wasn’t much he couldn’t do, whether it was working on cars, outdoors or doing home repairs.

Thomas knew he wanted to share his life with someone special so in 2010, he married Stephanie and he was blessed with two amazing sons and a beautiful step-daughter. He was not only an awesome father but he served as their football coach and attended every little league game that they had.

At the time of his passing, Thomas was employed at Wertz and Company Roofing and Chimney Contractors.

Thomas leaves to cherish his memory, his loving wife Stephanie Reeves, his sons that he loved more than life: Thomas Jr. (TJ) and Trevin; step-daughter: Jazzmine Marrero; mother and step-father: Karen Reeves Samuels (Roberto); father and mother-in-law: John, Sr. and Joanne Price; sisters: Tia Moore (Roscoe), Deja Shirley, Paris Samuels, Tarsha Williams, Tameka Allen and Kelise Allen; maternal grandparents: Vosie Brocks (Cleveland); father: Thomas Henry Allen, Jr.; great uncle and aunts: William R.
