Terry Lee Moore was the son of late Sundra Lee Lucas and son of the late Bernard Lee Hall and the late step father Lamont Lucas. He was born and raised in Wilmington, Delaware.
Terry was the first grandson of the late Eurie and Roseatta Burton. Terry would often tell stories of his great grand Dad, tossing him up in the air and gracefully catching him. Oh, how Terri loved to hear him laugh! There was this one time his granddad was playing with Terry tossing him in the air and Terry peed. Great grand Dad said, “Well my dear he certainly has a good aim. When great grand dad passed he left Terry an inheritance.
Terry loved to have an organized environment. His enjoyment was playing the piano, reading, planting, cooking, catering for small events, and home décor in which he had an artistic mind.
Terry attended schools in the Wilmington Public School District and graduated with a GED from The Job Corp.
Terry never married or fathered any kids but enjoyed the time spent with his sister, Keesa, his niece and his nephew.
Terry was predeceased by his grandparents Mary Frances and William Smith, favorite aunt Viola and favorite uncle Willie Walker; and Eurie Burton who was the life of the party. He would often visit our home being demanding and running our mom’s friends off. Terry would get tickled and say “Uncle Benny is the missionary. My aunt Deana, Debbie, Robin, Rochelle and Scrappy were close in age and always kept it live.
He lives to cherish his memories to his sister; Keesa Lee Daniels, twins Kim and Karen Williams and Torry Benard L. Hall. His first dedicated niece Kye Daniels, nephew Mark Daniels Jr., John, Markedia, Leraen, baby girl Markeesa Gilmore, brother-in-law, Mark Gilmore. A dedicated uncle Tarahn Lucas, dedicated family friend Joseph White and a host of great nieces, great nephews and friends.
