Teneka S. Bowers

Teneka S. Bowers was born on November 22, 1972, in the Wilmington General Hospital to Marselle and Armetta Bowers, and departed this life on February 25, 2025 at the age of 52.

Teneka received her early education in the Wilmington Public Schools.

Teneka met many people through out her life especially during her employment at Lucy's Take Out located 38th and Market St. Wilmington, DE

Teneka loved and enjoyed Church Services. On February 9, 2025, we spent her last church service and moment together.

Teneka also loved watching movies and tv shows. Teneka who had a heart of gold, was always willing to help and assist anyone. I could always depend on her during the clean up when there were family gatherings.

Teneka's infectious smile will be missed.

Teneka was proceeded in death by her Maternal  Grandparents, George and Cornelia Goldsborough. Paternal Grandparents, Augusta and Lottie Lewis; Great Grandmother, Sara Bowers. Aunts, Cardlie Rollins, Rowvena Goldsborough, Uncle Melvin Conner and Godfather Charlie Thompson.

Teneka leaves to cherish her memory her only son, Davion Manlove-Bowers, Fiancée Marti Rogers; Parents Armetta Maddox and Marselle Bowers. Brothers; Garren Maddock and Corey Bowers, devoted God mother, Linda Thompson, God sisters; Vanessa Clarb-Carte, Kia Bostick and a mutal friend Darryl Manlove, as well as many uncles, aunts, nieces and nephews.

Interment will be private.
