Rudolph V. "Rudy" Pierce

Rudolph “Rudy” Pierce, son of the late William H. and Bertha Taylor Pierce, departed this life on February 6, 2022 in Wilmington, Delaware.

Rudy was born on March 30, 1947 in Wilmington, Delaware and received his education in Absalom Jones School and Conrad High School. He loved doing yard work and gardening and owned Pierce Lawncare Service for over 40 years.

He leaves to cherish him in memories, his siblings: Elease Moss, Audrey(and James) Dillard, Delores Pierce, William D. Pierce, Arletta Wiggins, Betty (and Russell), Lee, Norman (and Gwendolyn) Pierce; brother-in-law Leonard McWilliams, Sr., fifteen nieces, and nephews, Yvonne, Anthony, Clifford, Steve, Allen, Marilyn, Lennie, William D. Jr., Marlon, Walter, Troy, Bryan, Russell, Stevie, and Norman, Jr., many cousins, and other loving family members and friends.

His brothers Rayfield Taylor, Bernard Pierce, Alvin Pierce; a sister Ruth McWilliams, sister-in-law Sandra Pierce, and three brothers-in-law James Moss, Tony Pierce and Walter Wiggins preceded him in death.

Honoring his life will take place on Thursday April 7, 2022 at 11 am, Mother UAME Church, 701 E. 5th Street Wilm., DE 19801. Viewing 9-11 am. Interment, Gracelawn Memorial Park Cemetery. Masks are required.
