Rochelle “Rody” Glover-Harris was born on July 14, 1957 to the late James A. Glover and Iona Glover.
Rody attended Wilmington public school and graduated from Wilmington High School. After graduating Rody went to work for Wilmington Housing Authority Security for three years. She went on to work at several other security companies before retiring from J.R. Gettier & Associates.
Rody was a great mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and they were always pulling pranks on her but she didn’t care she still loved them. She enjoyed playing cards, she loved the slot machines, games like candy crush and her scratch offs. She enjoyed listening to music and her favorites were Teena Marie and Rod Stewart. Rody loved to cook, but she was known for falling asleep with the pot on the stove. Rody loved to travel with her best friend, Dorthea.
Rochelle is preceded in death by her mother and father Iona and James Glover, maternal and paternal grandparents, and her younger sisters Mildred and Carmella.
Rochelle leaves to cherish her memory: Her children Antonio”Tony”(Mary) ,Starmaine”Star”(Alexander Bennett) Glover and Joseph”Joey”(Melissa) Glover, her grandchildren Deja Glover, Te’Airra Glover,Tallee Jackson-Glover, Khaliyah Talib, Khalif Talb Jaden Glover and Ayden Bennett, her great grandchild Zoria Glover. She also leaves 3 sisters and 6 brothers and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins other relatives and friends.
