Rakeem Bernard Tyrese Peterson

On September 9, 1990, a baby boy was born to Lonniea Romona Peterson and Mark A. Thomas who was named Rakeem Bernard Tyrese Peterson.
Rakeem departed this life on Monday May 14, 2018 as God called him from life to eternity.

Rakeem was a member of Harambe Organization at Mother A.U.M.P. Church. He received his high school diploma from James Grove High School.
He attended Wilmington University.

He. was a person who loved to swim, sing and dance. He also loved computer technology. He had worked at Target and various other jobs.
He loved his family, and loved to go out to eat at various restaurants.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his parents Mark Thomas and Lonniea Peterson, sisters,  Kyiesha and Anya Peterson, his grandparents, Linda P. Rhodes, his paternal grandparents, William and Elsie Thomas, uncle, Gary and aunt Susie Cooper,  uncle Grafton Peterson and Lawrence Reynolds of Boston, Mass., 2 nieces, Mackenzie Jones, Morgan Peterson, cousin Sharon Cooper and many other relatives and friends.

Service will be held on Tuesday May 22, 2018 at 11 am, St. Paul U.A.M.E. Church, 3114 N. Market Street, Wilm.,DE 19802. Viewing, 9-11am.Interment, Riverview Cemetery.
