Michael Terrell Allen, son of Paula Brown (Harley) and Ronald Allen was born on November 6, 1977, in Wilmington, Delaware. He peacefully gained his wings on Tuesday August 9, 2022.
"Mike" as he was affectionately called was educated in the public school system of Wilmington, DE and was an excellent student that excelled to the top of his class in his academics. During his middle and high school years, Mike had a love for sports and participated in various state championships in bowling, wrestling and baseball. He graduated from William Penn High School in June of 1996.
After high school, Mike held various positions as a general contractor. He also worked as a laborer and doing landscaping which he enjoyed the most. He was an avid Eagles fan and enjoyed football, basketball, bowling and getting his sleep on.
Mike and his late brother were inseparable. They shared a strong bond as brothers always looking out and taking care of each other. We can believe that Daron was at Heaven's Gate with his cousin Lamar, Buck, and many of his other close friends to "Welcome Mike Home!!!"
Mike had a very adoring love for his family especially his parents and children. He leaves to cherish many memories his beloved parents, Paula Brown (Harley) and Rodney Allen, three sons, Kashy Redden, Marquis and Sahmire Allen, one daughter Autumn Allen, one brother, Isaiah Allen, one sister, Alanna Allen all of Wilmington, DE. His maternal grandfather, James Dryden of Boston, MA, seven aunts, three uncles, five nieces and nephews and numberous cousins, relatives and friends.
Mike was preceded in death by is brother Daron B.(Pacman) Allen, Sr., his maternal grandmother and grandfather, June E. and Cornelius K. Harley and his paternal grandmother and grandfather, Dorothy and John B. Allen, Jr.
Celebration of his life will be held on Wednesday August 24, 2022 at the Mother UAME Church, 701 E. 5th Street, Wilmington, DE 19801. Viewing 9-10:45 am. Celebration beginning at 11 am. He will be laid to rest at Gracelawn Memorial Park. Masks are required.
