Marchelle Wright was born at St. Francis Hospital on November 1, 2003. She is the daughter of Marc and Adrienne Lloyd Wright. She departed this life surrounded by her loving family on July 8, 2022.
Marchelle received her education at John G. Leach School in New Castle,DE - Brader Elementary School in Newark,DE - Shue-Medill Middle School in Newark,DE - Newark High School in Newark,DE, and ended her last year of High School at Kent County Community School in Dover,DE. Which allowed her to graduate with the class of 2022 from Dover High School.
Marchelle was loved by everyone she came in contact with - From her funny facial expressions and the way she would bang on her wheelchair to get your attention. She would also in her Sweet way, Greet Everyone with her special and famous - HEY!!!
Marchelle enjoyed listening to music, long joy rides, and snuggling in the bed in the dark after a long day at school and falling to sleep. Marchelle will always be remembered as the girl with many nicknames: Mom-Mom, Bubble Gum Jaws, Squirrel, Mrs.Diva, Poo-Poo Stink, Marshie, Lil Momma, Marshmallow, and Daddy’s Baby.
Marchelle was a loving daughter & sister, and she will be deeply missed by her parents Marc Wright and Adrienne Wright, two sisters Shanekqua Lloyd and Leasia Brown, two grandmothers Marlene Wright and Charlene Lloyd Covington, one grandfather Freddie Brooks, four great aunts Nettie King, Pamela Brooks-Grimes, Marguerite Williams and Gwen Loper, one aunt Carmen Gray, one uncle Kawane Lloyd, one nephew Sincere Allen, and a host of cousins and friends.
Marchelle was also proceeded in death by, four grandparents James and Elsie Boyer, Thomas and Emma Street, one great aunt Gloria Lloyd, two great uncles James(Bubby)Boyer and Corey Lloyd, one aunt Linda Boyer.
A celebration of her life will be held on Thursday July 21, 2022 at Mother UAME Church, 701 E. 5th Street Wilmington, DE 19801. Viewing, 10-11:45 am. Service at 12 noon. Masks are required.
