James E. Boyer of Wilmington DE son of Marlene B Wright and Lamont May was born August 7, 1965 in Wilmington DE.
He departed this life peacefully at age 55 on December 14, 2020, at the Christiana hospital.
He was educated at Thomas McKean High School and graduated in 1983. Jamie entered the Army June 6, 1988. While serving he was awarded 6 medals. One for Good Conduct, National Defense, Army Service ribbon, parachutists, parachutes rigger and marksman rifle.
Parachutists medal was awarded because Jamie completed the US army basic airborne course at Fort Benning Georgia. Which signifies that Jamie was a trained military parachutist and was qualified to participate in airborne operations.
Jamie was a very loving in devoted Father and Grandson. He helped his mother take care of his grandparents. Jamie love to eat crack jokes and have a good time with his family.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents James and Elsie Boyer his sister Linda B Watts, his uncle James A Boyer and Richard Boyer.
He leaves to cherish his memory, mother Marlene B Wright; four children James (Nook) Jasmin, Ja Von and Lamar. Eight Grandchildren, two aunts; Mary Gray and Annette King and one sister, Carmen Gray, one brother Marc Wright and host nieces, nephews’ cousins and friends.
