Everett Brown

Everett was born September 9, 1927 in Indianapolis, IN to the late William and Alice(Davis) Brown.
He departed this life on Saturday, March 31, 2018 at the age of 90.

His family moved to Detroit, MI where he was educated in  the Detroit Public School System.

Everett began his career with Chrysler Corporation and was transferred to Wilmington, DE in 1957 where he
continued his employment until his retirement 1994.

Everett was predeceased by his parents William and Alice Brown, 4 sisters; Rosetta Lewis, Martella Ryle, Dorothy Taylor and Betty Mae Murphy and 3 brothers, Lester, Amos and Benjamin.

He is survived by his wife, Lena(Betty) Brown, step-daughter Joy Hansford, nephew Demitrus Jolley, 1 sister, Mary Frances Simmonds 1 brother, George Jordan, 2 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and 8 great great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

The service will be held on Friday April 6, 2018 at 11 am, viewing 9-11am only at Glasgow Baptist Church 3021 Old County Road, Newark, DE 19702. Interment, Rolling Green Memorial Park, West Chester, PA.
