Diane Coston

Diane Coston, aka DiDi,  was sixty years old. She would’ve been sixty-one on July 29, 2018. She was a Leo as well as her mother. Diane went home on July 21, 2018 to join her mother and father Mary & Isaac Coston. She also joined her siblings Cecil,Phyllis,Gerald and Elaine.

Diane graduated from Wilmington High School and worked as a cook at Wilmington Headstart in 1982. She later worked as a teacher in the daycare and juggled the two jobs. She went from cooking upstairs in the morning to watching children later in the evening. But, the jobs that came natural were being a great mother, wife,grandmother and friend.

Diane was known by her mean mug that made you think that she was going to beat you down, but that infectious laugh that gave you security that everything would be alright. She wasn’t  perfect,but she was always perfect to us. She leaves behind her two children Nathaniel(Naim) and Moshonda. She leaves her husband Joseph(Joe) aka, Broadway. Her seven grandchildren Yasmeen, Shakyra(Shakira), Reign, Nyhe,Deshawn, Damon, & De’metrious, and her brother Sylvester. Diane also leaves behind cousins nieces, nephews,aunts, uncles and many life long friends.

A service will be held on Tuesday July 31, 2018 at 11 am. Viewing 9-11 am at Mother UAME Church, 701 E. 5th Street, Wilmington, DE 19801.
