Barbara A. Gardner

Barbara Ann Gardner was born on February 20,1939, in Wilmington, Delaware to Herman Gardner and Alma Gardner. She passed away on February February 7, 2025 at the New Castle Rehabilitation Center, in New Castle, Delaware 19720.

Barbara received her early childhood education at Mill Side Elementary. She graduated from Howard High, where she studied and became a Beautician. She was expert in the skill. She worked at Jim’s Beauty Shop for about 4 years.

Barbara was faithful member of Mother Church of God in Christ for 15 years. She liked cooking, especially sweet potato pies. She was an excellent cook. She also loved her dogs.

We also called Barbara, Barb. She had a great sense of humor. She loved the Lord and loved going to church .And like our Mother Alma, Barbara was a sharp dresser when attending church.

My Dear Sister Barbara was preceded by in death by our Mother Alma S. Gardner, Sister Patricia Gardner, Brother Herman Gardner Sr. and other relatives and friends.

Barbara is survived by her loving Sister Jean Shirley Jackson, and a host of nieces, nephews, a host of relatives and friends.
