Adam Ray Hunter, age 31, was born at Christiana Hospital May 16, 1988. He was the only child of the late Gilbert Hunter and Yvonne Hunter.
Adam attended the Wilmington School System graduating from Concord High School in 2006. While attending schools Adam was very active in the Special Olympics participating in basketball, field and track and bowling. Adam was a great sportsman and was the recipient of many awards and medals.
He begin his employment with Chimes Organization in 2008 and remained until he became ill in 2012. Adam loved music and the BET channel, The Philadelphia Eagles, The Philadelphia Flyers and Smackdown.
He leaves to cherish his memory his devoted mother Yvonne Hunter, two aunts; Elaine Bell and Ann Good, one uncle Greg Moore all of New Jersey, also two devoted and dedicated caregivers who became family members; Ann Marie Barnett and Malinda Maxwell, a host of cousins, other family members, and friends.
A celebration of his life and memorial service will be held on Saturday December 14, 2019 at 11 am. Viewing 10-11 am from Mother UAME Church 701 E. 5th Street Wilmington, DE 19801.
