Patricia (Patsy) Lucille Freeman, daughter of the late Frances E. Freeman and Archie T. Stigars was born May 20, 1950 in Wilmington, DE. Patsy was raised in Port Penn, DE most of her life.
She was educated in the public schoool systems in Middletown and Wilmington, DE. She worked at the University & Whist Club of Wilmington and from there she begin working at Wilmington Headstart and was last employed at St. Michael's as a Teacher Tech until she was strickened with kidney disease. Pat was on dialysis for over 20 years.
She leaves to cherish her memories her devoted son, Germaine Freeman, devoted niece, Patrique V. Freeman, grandchildren, Arielle Hargrow, Dewayne E. Freeman, Jr. whom she raised, great grand Ariana whom she called NaNa and she just adored, a host of other grandchildren and great grandchildren. Sisters; Minister Emma Freeman(Frank) of Miami, FL, ElderJeanie Gosa, of Newark, DE, brothers; James Freeman, Ron Freeman, Archie Freeman(Karen), Jerry Freeman(Lynn), daughter-in-law, Jennifer Freeman all from Delaware and a host of other relatives and friends.Patsy was predeceased in death by her two sons, DeWayne E. Freeman, Sr. and Jonathan Foxx Freeman, Sr., her nephew, James Pitt Freeman, who was like a son, three older sisters and a baby sister.
Service will be held on Saturday September 2, 2017 at 11 am, viewing 9-11 am from Mother UAME Church, 701 E. 5th St. Wilm.DE
