Charles Franklin Williams, Jr. "Choke"

On July 31, 2017, Charles, "Choke", Franklin Williams passed away suddenly at home. He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Geneva Lott Williams, 6 children, Deborah Milam, Charlene Robinson, Tony Milam, Makee Williams, Javari Williams, and Tinisha Williams, He raised 3 others ; Antionette Mosley, Byron Milan, and Gary Lott. A brother, Arthur L Scott (Lynette), sister- in -law Jeanette Lott, an aunt, Rovella Debrick, 22 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, a very special nephew, Terrance Evans, and a host of other nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his grandparents, Miltilda and John Williams, who raised him, his mother, Ida Mae Scott, father, Charles F. Williams, brother Donald Scott, sister Sylvia Evans, and a special aunt, Ethel Crawford.
He was one of the original seven founders of the “ Thunderguards” Delaware Chapter. He loved to ride his Harley Davidson until an illness forced him to give it up. He enjoy playing pool. Another one of his favorite past times was going to auctions.
He retired from Greggo Ferrara, Inc. after 30 years of service . He was a member of The Teamsters Union, Local 326. Choke was a hard worker and a humble man, and lived for his grandchildren. He will be sorely missed by his family and friends.

A celebration of his life will be held on Tuesday August 8, 2017 at 11am, viewing 9-10:45 am at St. Paul UAME Church 3114 N. Market Street, Wilm., DE 19802. Interment, Gracelawn Memorial Park.
