Clyde M. Thompson, Jr.

Sa' id Bey born Clyde M. Thompson on May 5, 1940 to the late Clyde M. Sr. & Elizabeth Thompson departed this life on Sunday September 13, 2015 surrounded by his dedicated and loving wife Raylyne M. Thompson (Half Pint) and family.

Clyde was an avid computer buff, he enjoyed spending quality time with his wife & family. You could often times find Clyde on his computer or reading on the Moorish Science History & Civilization & up lifting humanity. Clyde donated a lot of his time & talents to others in need. One his favorite Saturday outings was buying turkey legs from New Castle Farmers market, every Thursday evening he was at the Old Country Buffet for sure. Pretty Clyde was what they called him, Clyde certainly loved to dress. Clyde loved his wife's cooking & would always compliment by asking for seconds.

Clyde was the 3rd of nine children. He received his early education in the Wilmington public school system. Clyde is predeceased by siblings Anna Favors, Clydette Johnson(his Twin) and Karen (Moggie) Carter.

Clyde leaves to cherish his memories Ameer Thompson, Zara White, Shonda Wilkins, Navatae Bowie, DaVon (Bubbles) Bowie, Siblings, Victor Harris(Gwen), Wanda Wiggins(Gerald), Russell Harris(Effie), Richard Thompson(Shareff), Reginald Thompson(Sharita) and Wyman Thompson. Aunts, Carol Arvelay, Carolyn Jackson, Mary Pearce(Ben), Uncles, Harrison & Willard , one God daughter Takeisha Favors and seven grandchildren.

Service Wednesday September 16, 2015 at Longshoreman at 12 noon. Interment, Silverbrook Cemetery.
