Luezine G. Callaway

Luezine G. Callaway, age 70, died peacefully on February 8, 2015 at Arbors At New Castle after a long illness. She was born to the late Raymond Henry Callaway and Luezine (Pigrom) Henry Callaway on January 7, 1945 in Wilmington, Delaware.

Luezine attended Absalom Jones School and Elbert School, before earning a Certificate of High School Equivalency from James H. Groves High School.

Luezine was no stranger to hard work. She was a dedicated Housekeeper at the State Hospital for nearly 16 years. Luezine was a member of Sharon Temple S.V.A. Church.

Her memories will be cherished by her three children, Talibah Muhammad, Garnald Corbin and Dezmond Reams (Shealese); two brothers, Emmit Callaway (Linda) and Raymond Callaway (Diane); eight grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren; as well as a host of aunts, nephews, nieces, cousins and friends

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her memorial on Sunday, 1:00PM at Sharon Temple S.V.A. Church, 2001 North Washington Street, Wilmington, DE 19802.
