Danielle Bernadette Clark-Skinner, daughter of Gloria Clark-Cooper and the late Henry Lee Clark was born April 8, 1970 in Wilmington Delaware. She peacefully transitioned this life at home on Friday, January 16, 2015 at the age of 44.
Danielle received her early education in the public schools of Wilmington, Delaware and graduated from Howard High School. On January 1, 2000 she was united in holy matrimony to William H. Skinner Jr., and from this union three children were born.
Danielle worked for St Francis Hospital for 15 years as an escort. Following that position she opened her own daycare center, which she ran from her home for 10 years. Danielle enjoyed traveling with her family and family time was very important to her. She was a wonderful wife and mother. She also enjoyed many genres of music with R&B, classical and gospel being her favorites. Danielle enjoyed cooking and took pride in caring for her family.
She was preceded in death by her father, Henry Lee Clark, brothers Oshay Lavon & Demarbis Nigel Clark; her father in law, William H. Skinner, Sr. She leaves to cherish her memory, her loving mother Gloria A. Clark-Cooper; beloved husband William H. Skinner, Jr.; children Alonna , Marquis, and Kahlil Clark-Skinner; two brothers Angelo and Darnell Clark; and mother-in-law Elsie Mae Skinner and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Service will be held on Monday January 26, 2015, at 11 AM, viewing, 9-11 AM, Mother UAME Church, 701 E. 5th Street, Wilm.,DE. Interment, Gracelawn Memorial Park
