Marjorie J. Stansbury

Our Angel, Marjorie J. (Loper) Stansbury daughter of the late William and Elsie Loper departed this life early Thursday morning at the St. Francis Compassionate Care Unit. She was a life time member of St. Paul UAME Church, retiring from Bancroft cafeteria as a Lead Worker. Her husband John, and siblings, Mary Caulk (Jackie) and Ronald Loper (Ronnie), aunt Bertha Carpenter and grandmother Mary Lee Mando preceded her in death. She leaves to cherish her memory Five children, Apostle Raymond Stansbury "Gizzy", James "Jimmy"Stansbury Charleston WV, William Stansbury Sr. "Billy" (Carmella) Deborah Stansbury Qazi "Debbie"(Camron), and Dwayne Stansbury "Wayne"(Kai) all of Wilmington DE. Four siblings Rev. Bessie L. Jones, Rev. Dr. Delores J. Loper, William A. Loper (Gloria) Paul A. Loper (Faith). Fifteen grandchildren including devoted granddaughters Vanessa Stansbury and Niya Roundtree, 3 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and host of church family and friends.
The Home-Going Celebration services will be held at St. Paul U.A.M.E. Church, 3114 N. Market St., Wilmington DE on Wednesday May 28, 2014 7pm, viewing from 4pm to 7pm. Interment, Silver brook Cemetery
