Rosetta Payne Stansbury

Rosetta Payne Stansbury

was born on March 29, 1928 in Fairfax Virginia. Rosetta re-located to Wilmington, DE. She met Edward Stansbury and married him, they were married for 42 years.

She spent her final days living in Philadelphia, PA with her daughter, Ingrid Abrams, fighting Alzheimer's. She lost the fight Saturday October 19, 2013.

Rosetta was preceded in death by her husband, two sisters and eight brothers. She leaves to mourn her one daughter, Ingrid, one sister. Theresa Robinson, and one brother, Syndney Payne, four granddaughters, eleven great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren and an abundance of nieces, nephews and friends.

Celebration of life will be held on Friday November 1, 2013 at 11 AM. Viewing will be 9-11, Ezion- Fair Baptist Church, 1400 "B'" St, Wilm.,DE.
