Danita Nicole Jackson

at age 38 departed this life on the morning of February 17, 2012 at her residence in Wilmington, Delaware.

She was the loving daughter of Larry and Paulette Jackson, Mother to Levon and Mileena Jackson, a dear sister and a great friend.

“Neet Neet” as she was affectionately called, was a former employee of Bank of America, Inc. As an athletic individual she played numerous sports, such as basketball, volley ball, field hockey and her most loved, double dutch. Danita’s passion for music was evident in her love for musicals and R&B. She also enjoyed scary movies and her favorite color was green.

Preceded in death by her sister Lynette Jackson, she leaves to cherish her loving memory her children: Levon and Mileena Jackson, her parents Larry and Paulette Jackson, two brothers Dion Jackson of Severna Park, MD and Ernest McLaughlin and her sisters: Donielle Jackson of Baltimore, MD, Tasha Hurtt, Sherita Jackson, a host of uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces, great nieces, nephews and some very special friends.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, Feb. 27 at Mother UAME Church, 701 East 5th Street Wilmington, DE 19801 with the viewing starting at 1 P.M. and service starting at 3 P.M.
