Age 83 of Wilmington, Delaware, passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, January 31. Born on August 8, 1928 to Emma and Elwood Mason.
She is survived by her loving husband, Roland T. Johnson, 3 daughters, Laverne Wright, Darla Chase, and Torey Johnson. 16 Grandchildren, 25 Great-grandchildren, 12 Great-great-grandchildren, 4 sisters, Joeann Conyer, Marva Curtis, Loretta Cannon, and Helen Mason, 2 Brothers, James (Joan), and Robert (Tanya) Mason, 2 Sister-in laws, Gwendolyn Fawcett, and Sarah Houghton and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
The service will be held on Tuesday, February 7, 2012.There will be one viewing, 9-10:45 AM. American Legion Auxiliary Service at 10:45. Service will be at 11 AM at the Mother African Union Church, 812 North Franklin Street, Wilmington, Delaware. Interment at Gracelawn Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made at Delaware Hospice.
