Mary Mayfield Hagins

of Wilmington, DE departed this life peacefully on Saturday December 17,2011 surrounded by her loving family.

Born August 10, 1921 in Winnsboro, South Carolina to the late Pearl and Samuel Mayfield. She moved from New York to Wilmington in 2003. While living in New York she was employed by the Chock Full of Nuts Corporation. Mary loved her family dearly and cherished every moment with them.

She leaves to cherish her memory five sisters, her devoted twin, Martha M. Robinson, Alice M. Redden of Wilmington, Mariah M. Parrish of Tucson, AZ, Dolly M. McPherson of New Castle and Pearl M. Bannister of Bear, two brothers, McKinley Mayfield of New Castle and James Mayfield of Townsend and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives.

A celebration of life will be held at 11 AM on Thursday December 22, 2011. Viewing 9-10:45 am at Mother UAME Church, 701 E 5th St. Wilm.,DE. Interment, Gracelawn Memorial Park Cemetery.
