Francis Edward"Franny" Brady

Francis Edward “Franny” Brady was the eldest child born to the late Francis L. & Cornelia Armetta Roberts Brady. Franny was born in Wilmington on June 21, 1947 and raised in Delaware City, Delaware. He departed this life on Tuesday, March 22, 2011 at Heartland Hospice House.
He received his education in the Delaware City Public School system. He was an excellent athlete and excelled in every one of them (baseball, basketball, football and etc.). He worked at Deemers Steel, Chrysler, and DuPont Experimental station among other positions until his retirement.
Franny loved riding his motorcycle and became a lifelong member of the Thunder Guard Motorcycle Club, Wilmington Chapter. He leaves to cherish his memory his children: Sean B. Brady (Kandist), Craig A. Brady, Stefanie Brady Greene (Randy), and Javon Floyd; siblings: Gerald A. “Bubby” Brady (Karen Q.), Reginal Danny Brady, Gwendolyn M. Quailes and Craig W. Brady (Kathleen); also, (10) grandchildren, (1) great grandchild; former wife Reverend Clementine F. Brady Henderson; and, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Homegoing service will be held Saturday March 26, 2011 at 1 PM at Mt. Salem UAME Church 305 4th St Delaware City, DE. Viewing 11-1 PM
