Lorraine Emma Coston Stansbury, the daughter of the late Emily P. "Emmie" Coston. Lorraine "Rainy Day"as she was called was born in Wilmington, DE on Apriil 9, 1937 and departed this life on March 3, 2011 at home with her family.

She received her early education in the Wilmington Public School system. She was raised on the Eastside of Wilmington. She worked in private service for Dr. Chrzanowski until her retirement. She was joined in holy matrimony to the late Shirley Eugene Stansbury.

Lorraine"Rainy Day" loved music, as well as singing and dancing like her late mother, "Emmie". Her favorite song was "The Love of My Man".

She leaves to cherish her memory her children: Sylvester Coston, Ronald E. Coston, Eugene "Foogie" Coston, Robert Stansbury, Anthony Stansbury and Saralee Stansbury;sister of Edith Dryden and Emily Watson and the late Wayne Coston and Andrew Queen, also grandchildren, grand grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Service will be held on Wednesday, March 9, 2011 at 11 AM at Mother UAME Church, 701 E. 5th St. Wilm.,DE. Viewing will be 9-11. Interment at Riverview Cemetery. Arrangements by
